WHAT LOVE IS NOT
BIBLE TEXT: 1COR 13: 1-13
1Cor.13.4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. (NIV)
1Cor.13.5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. (NIV)
1Cor.13.6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. (NIV)
There is one fact that marketers, producers, business men, etc have discovered and exploited: "LOVE SELLS"
To get more money and pull more crowds they sing about love, produce movies about love, and create content about love to sell products and services. The success recorded with this in astounding, it has generated more money, and our society loves money.
There is a lot of narratives out there about love, and this have shapen Singles perception and opinion about it.
Love is not the fiery desire secular musicians sing about, and neither is it the clothe tearing lust acted in movies.
Love is not the desire to mate, and is not the obsessive infatuation that robs you of your reasoning. Genuine love does not have any resemblance to the chemistry and biology movies are based on.
The society has succeeded in making true love the ghost the Bible preaches about but was never seen anywhere. If you believe the popular narrative about love, you may never get to experience love at its best.
Love is not what the society says it is, but it is certainly everything God says it is in His Word. Which narrative do you believe? The society's or God's?

DECLARATION
I'm a son/daughter of God Most High, and I walk in love. My Father is an embodiment of true love, and has shed the light of His love into all areas of my life. Love is a choice I make daily, and I believe love is everything the Bible says it is. I am a reflection of His love hallelujah.
