You need power to make wealth

DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR SINGLES BY SARAH ADENIJI

MONDAY, 22ND OF SEPTEMBER, 2025

YOU NEED POWER TO MAKE WEALTH

BIBLE TEXT: DEUT. 8: 17-19

Deut.8.17 then you say in your heart, "My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth.' (NKJV)

Deut.8.18 "And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. (NKJV)

Deut.8.19 Then it shall be, if you by any means forget the LORD your God, and follow other gods, and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish. (NKJV)

Dear friend, do you know you can be smart, skillful, hardworking, and poor? Before you consider how well you are doing and give glory to your skill have you ever thought about people that are equally as talented but are stagnant?

It is easy to see how well you have done financially and think it's because of your education, skill and smartness. Don't get carried away by the blessings and forget the giver of all things (God). Be careful not to bow to an Idol called "Pride" in your ignorance.

The reason Isaac Prospered was because he was a man operating under God's favour and blessing, every little efforts of his was multiplied because He was favoured by God.

Favour does not cancel labour, but labour without favour can lead to life of fruitless result. You need the power and blessings from God to prosper in your endeavors.

Surrender to God and ask for His blessings every day of your life, lead a prayerful, humble, and hardworking life. Don't forget that effort matters and diligence pays, but all these are nothing without the power to make wealth that only God can give you.

Rom.9.16 So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy. (NKJV)

DECLARATION

I'm a son/daughter of God Most High, and I carry the mandate of prosperity. I stand tall before God everyday of my life so I do not bow to poverty. The works of my hands are blessed, and every endeavor of mine yields result because I belong to a father that gives power to make wealth. I'm the favoured of the Lord Hallelujah.
