QUIT THE EXCUSES
BIBLE TEXT: GENESIS 3: 11-24
Gen.3.11 "Who told you that you were naked?" the LORD God asked. "Have you eaten the fruit I commanded you not to eat?" (NLT)
Gen.3.12 "Yes," Adam admitted, "but it was the woman you gave me who brought me the fruit, and I ate it." (NLT)
Gen.3.13 Then the LORD God asked the woman, "How could you do such a thing?The serpent tricked me," she replied. "That's why I ate it." (NLT)
If you want to do something badly enough you can always find an excuse for it: I fell into immorality because the temptation was too great, I was out of job for a long time and broke and that was why I slept with my boss, I agreed to date him/her out of pity, he was the only man that proposed marriage so I have to compromise my purity etc
You can also readily find an excuse for something you don't want to do: I can't have big dreams because I'm from a poor home, I can't combine schooling with my job because I can't multitask, I can't start a business because so many of my friends tried and failed, I can't go into another courtship because I suffered multiple heartbreaks etc
If you are not careful your life will be a bundle of excuses, and it will get you nowhere. A life of mediocrity will get you stuck at the basic level while you watch others go ahead of you.
Remember that your excuses might look genuine, but that doesn't make them valid. God does not excuse sin as a weakness, and He does not excuse averageness as incapacities.

Phil.4.13 For I can do everything with the help of Christ who gives me the strength I need. (NLT)
DECLARATION
I'm a son/daughter of God Most High, and I carry the grace of Elyon. I am a bundle of excellence not excuses so I excel wherever I find myself. I can do all things with the help of my sovereign Father so I'm not afraid to dream big and break limits. I'm made to manifest His glory Hallelujah.
