THE LORD THAT PROVIDES (JEHOVAH JIREH)

BIBLE TEXT: GEN 22: 13-17

Gen.22.13 Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. (NKJV)

Gen.22.14 And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, "In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided." (NKJV)

Most times we tend to look unto man when we have an urgent need to be met; your parents, that Uncle, that friend, that relative, that man/woman you have a relationship with, or a certain person you feel is rich enough to afford your needs.

We tend to forget that our provision comes from the Lord that provides, and He's a responsible God and father.

When you put your hope in man, prepare for a life of disappointment, bitterness, resentment, and disillusionment.

The most reliable way to get your needs met is to rely on the Lord that provides, He'll send an angel if He has to.

DECLARATION

I'm a son/daughter of God Most High, and my Father is Jehovah JIREH. I serve a God that is able to provide and meet my needs, so I refuse to live a life of anxiety, and distress. I understand that man may fail, but my Lord and Father can't, so I put my trust in Him. I have a Father that provides Hallelujah.
