SIGNS YOUR GUY IS NOT MATURE

Dating an immature guy is just like dating a child, He might look big, bossy and has muscles but inside he is just like a six-year-old boy. Dating such guy can be energy consuming and emotionally draining and you keep asking yourself why you are still in such relationships. So, is your guy a whiny six-year-old inside? If you notice these signs then you have to make some decisions concerning your relationship:

S1. HE THROWS TANTRUMS

Does your guy have a fit when he could not have his way? Does he have a sullen look and brood for days? For instance, if your guy asks you not to attend a party with your friends and you end up going and he got to know about it, does he sulk for days and refuses to pick your call? Does he insist on getting whatever he wants even at your expense and call you names if you refuse to give in? if the answers to all these questions are yes then maybe you are dating a kindergärtner.

S2. HE EXPLODES AND BREAKS THINGS WHEN HE IS ANGRY

Have you heard about the five-minute madness theory? Someone somewhere thinks everyone displays madness for some minutes whether they carry a certificate of lunacy or not. Well, I have heard about it too and personally, I don’t think it is true. Maybe it is because I have learned how to control my anger by God’s grace and I don’t allow it to control me and that is one of the signs of emotional maturity. So does your guy display madness often and break things? Or does he just explode in the middle of an argument and starts punching the wall? Maybe you should call his mom to come and carry her baby.

S3. HE BREAKS UP WITH YOU EVERY DAY

It might not be every day but if he does it at least once in a month or after every major argument maybe he is really a child after all. I bet you can remember all those secondary school puppy love, where boys and girls break up because they didn’t wait for each other after school, or one of them dropped a love letter and it got into the wrong hands, if your relationship looks like that then there is something wrong. Relationships should be between two mature adults that are ready for marriage, which means he is going to be a father in the nearest future and he should stop behaving like his own son.

S4. HE BRINGS HIS MOM INTO EVERY ARGUMENT

Is your guy always quoting and mentioning his mom in every argument? For instance, are you always hearing: Mom says …, Mom is right…, Mom won’t like that…, Mom can’t… etc then you might be looking at a boy still sucking breast. He is tied strongly to his Mom’s apron string and God forbid that your opinion should contradict that of his mom. That is a certified mama’s boy and if you are not careful you will find yourself married to his mom.
